How to Play
Set & Match is a daily mahjong-themed tile puzzle. Place every cluster onto the grid so that each coloured region forms a valid mahjong combination.
How it works
Core Sets
The four fundamental hand typesThree consecutive tiles of the same suit. Honor tiles are not permitted.
e.g. Bam 3 · Bam 4 · Bam 5
Three identical tiles.
e.g. Dot 7 · Dot 7 · Dot 7
Four identical tiles.
e.g. Wan 1 · Wan 1 · Wan 1 · Wan 1
Two identical tiles.
e.g. Red Dragon · Red Dragon
Region Conditions
Extra constraints applied to a single regionNo 1s, 9s, or honor tiles. Ranks 2–8 only.
e.g. Dot 3 · Wan 5 · Bam 7
All tiles from a single numbered suit. No honor tiles.
e.g. Bam 2 · Bam 5 · Bam 9
All suited tiles belong to one numbered suit. Honor tiles are also allowed.
e.g. Bam 3 · Bam 7 · East Wind
Every set is a Pong or Kong. No Chows allowed.

Every tile forms a pair. All pairs must be distinct; no two pairs of the same tile type.

Tiles from all three suits. Each suit uses exactly one rank group: {1, 4, 7}, {2, 5, 8}, or {3, 6, 9}. No duplicate tiles.

Every tile is a 1 or 9.
e.g. Bam 1 · Dot 9 · Wan 1 · Bam 9
Every tile is a Wind or Dragon (honor tiles only).

Every tile is a Wind tile (East, South, West, or North).
e.g. East · South · West · North
Every tile is a Dragon tile (Red, Green, or White).
e.g. Red Dragon · Green Dragon · White Dragon
Every tile is a terminal (1 or 9) or an honor tile.
